Susan is first and foremost a mum. Following that she is a copywriter, marketing and social media consultant. Fairly impressive!
She has two little misses that are the centre of her world. There is 4 going on 14 MissDrama (yes, the angsty attitude has already kicked in). She is a beautiful, thoughtful, sensitive, talkative, exhausting yet exhilarating expressive child who never ceases to amaze me.
Then there is MissMischief who is an inquisitive, cheeky and happy wrecking ball (nothing remains upstanding after she has her way with it). She is a curious and calm bundle of love who is cheery and affectionate until she clicks it (no warning whinge from this one, its quiet then BANG – chaos and screaming ensues)

Cate is a mum to 3 little girls, a wife to a wonderful hubby for 15 years, and a p.e. teacher at a local PS…
…and, like everyone, she has a busy life. It’s so full of stuff like getting the kids off to school on time, fighting traffic and queues at the supermarket that she’s on a quest to do one productive thing that fills her life with joy, meaning and pride over the next 365 days.
Her girls “LOVE GO GIRL BOOKS!!” (sorry, my girls insisted I write that!) and Cate even has a favourite title (track stars…or course!).

Bern has three children including an eleven year-old girl who thinks it’s way cool that Bern is blogging for Go Girl!
Child of the 80′s. Still partially stuck there. Working Mum, Wife. Could take Gold for Australia if procrastination ever becomes an Olympic sport.

Chrissie was born in Melbourne and is one of five daughters. She is number four.
Chrissie is the author of many successful books for children, including her stories in the Go Girl series. When she writes for young adults she uses the name Chrissie Keighery.
The former high school English teacher lives down on the Great Ocean Road in Fairhaven with her husband and three children. There is an amazingly beautiful view of the coastline from the living area, so Chrissie tucks herself away in a room with shut out blinds to concentrate on her stories.
She finds that she needs a cocoon like this to dive deep inside her characters; to bring to life the physical and emotional ups and downs of teen life.
Her teenage daughter has been a big part of the process, helping to build and expand the cast of her books until the characters have become part of the family.
Thalia grew up on a farm on the outskirts of Melbourne, Australia. After a stint as a dancer she edited websites and travel guides, but her biggest passion has always been writing. It wasn’t until she became a mum that she was able to sneak time to write, during her son’s naps and later during his two days a week at childcare.
She has published multiple books in the Go Girl series, as well as a non-fiction book It’s True! Sleep Makes You Smarter! (which is true, in case you’re wondering). Thalia has also published two novels in the Girlfriend Fiction series, Step Up and Dance and What Supergirl Did Next. Her latest book is a collection of short stories called Head Spinners, six stories to twist your brain.
These days she lives in north-eastern Victoria with her husband and two children (a son and a daughter), as well as two cats, numerous frogs and a family of micro bats.
Sally Rippin has a very clear memory of herself as a child. She remembers the details of her primary school years with surprising clarity: the trials, the treasons, the tribulations, as well as all the lovely things that exist in childhood friendships.
Perhaps this is the main reason behind why she is the successful author and illustrator of over thirty published children’s books. She aims to write stories with heart.
Sally is also the mother of three sons, Gabriel (17), Max (14) and Dominic (7) and admits raising three boys can be like living in a zoo. She says that raising a daughter is a fantasy of fancy hairstyles and pretty dresses and singing Katy Perry songs in the car that she indulges in. Although she admits there would be more to it than that and says that the best thing about being a mum is being able to sympathise with her own mother.
Maria Tedeschi, or Mrs M, is a stay-at-home mum who moonlights as a freelance writer. A former high flying corporate marketing guru she gave it all up for daytime television and tracksuit pants….oh and to raise her children.
She draws much of her inspiration from her four children and the crazy world she brought them into.
She is reflective in her approach to topics; often looking through the eyes of herself but also through the eyes of other members of her family; her husband, her children, her parents, her siblings and the family pet.
Her greatest achievement to date is encouraging her children to listen and, more importantly, love her CD collection. With any luck she will never have to tell her kids to turn the music down.
